CAT 2016 Notification – Eligibility Criteria

Well ! Before filling up the application form, you must be well aware of the eligibility criteria of the exam. You must know that you whether you can apply for the test or not. For appearing in the CAT 2016, an aspirant must be graduated from any discipline and a recognized board. There is one more thing, you should keep in mind, that you have to score minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in your graduation. The Percentage required for the students of reserved category is 45%. The students who are appearing in the last year of graduation can also register for the examination.

Dear Students ! If you want to appear in the CAT 2016 exam then the foremost thing you have to do is to fill the application form of the exam. The process of filling the application form starts from the month of August. This will be an online process and will be done on the official website of CAT. However the exact date of registration has not been announced on the official website but it is expected till August. After that, you can easily log on to the official website of CAT to fill your application form.

Well ! After filling up the application form, the second thing you have to do is to submit your application fees. It will be submitted through the official portal on the official website of CAT. For the aspirants of general and OBC category, the registration fee is Rs.1600 and for the aspirants of Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or the Person with Disability, the registration fee is Rs.800.
